The research antibacterial stainless steel has a long history. The traditional research direction is mainly adding copper, silver and other alloy elements during the steelmaking process. After special aging solution treatment, a specific copper or silver phase is generated to produce free copper or silver ions enriched on the surface of stainless steel, which destroys the bacterial cell wall and has a bactericidal effect. However, the production cost is high, and the precision of the smelting process is difficult to control, so that the application is difficult to improve.

Through the self-developed stainless steel surface vapor deposition technology and intermediate frequency sputtering ion coating technology, the oxide bacteria composite antibacterial material target is deposited on the stainless steel surface under vacuum. This will integrate the antibacterial film with the stainless steel surface itself, combining the antibacterial property with the corrosion resistance of stainless steel itself, so that the stainless steel has long-lasting high antibacterial performance.
This new production process of antibacterial functional stainless steel not only does not change the surface color and texture of the stainless steel, but also does not affect the mechanical processing performance. At the same time, it has the characteristics of high production efficiency and controllable cost. The products have broad application prospects in various fields, and has important practical significance for effectively preventing the spread of germs, preventing cross-infection, and improving the level of public health.
Hongwang now has the ability to process whloe coils or single sheets of new antibacterial functional stainless steel. The main product width is 1000mm to 1300mm, thickness is 0.3mm to 1.15mm. The single sheet is divided into 4*8 feet, 4*10 feet specifications. And products can be customized according to customer needs.
