With the development of economy, people have become closely related to stainless steel products in daily life, but many people don’t know much about the performance of stainless steel, and mistakenly believe that stainless steel will never rust. Although the degree of oxidation of stainless steel varies according to the conditions of use, it is eventually oxidized. This phenomenon is usually called corrosion.
In the purification film on the surface of the stainless steel plate, the corrosion resistance is weak, due to the electrochemical or chemical reaction on the metal surface exposed in the corrosive environment, pitting corrosion is imagined, small holes are formed, and oxygen ions are close to form strong corrosion The solution accelerates the rate of corrosion reaction.
In response to this situation, Shuitianfu Stainless Steel has summarized the following points:
1. Cleaning method
When cleaning the stainless steel surface, you must be careful not to scratch the surface. Avoid using bleaching ingredients and abrasive detergents, steel wire balls, abrasive tools, etc. To remove the detergent, rinse the surface with clean water at the end of the washing.
2. How to deal with dust
The surface of stainless steel with dust and dirt can be easily removed with soap and weak detergent to wash, the binder component, use alcohol or organic solvents (ether, benzene) to scrub.
The grease, oil and lubricating oil on the surface of the stainless steel are contaminated. After wiping it with a soft cloth, wash it with a neutral detergent or ammonia solution or a special detergent.
4. Acid corrosion
There are bleaching agents and various acids attached to the surface of stainless steel. Rinse immediately with water, then soak with ammonia solution or neutral carbonated soda water solution, and wash with neutral detergent or warm water.
5. Rainbow pattern on the surface
The rainbow pattern on the surface of stainless steel is caused by excessive use of detergent or oil. It can be washed away with mild detergent in warm water.
6. Rust attached
Rust caused by dirt on the surface of stainless steel can be washed with 10% nitric acid or abrasive detergent, or with special detergents.
